Dr.Ashraf Abdel-Samea

Dr. Ashraf Abdel-Samea completed his graduation (MB.B.Ch) from Cairo University, Egypt in 1989. Then he received his Urology Master’s degree in 1995 and his (M.D, Ph.D.) in 2008 from the same University. Dr. Ashraf was awarded a fellowship from Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA in 1999 and from Krankenhaus Nordwest Hospital, Frankfurt, Germany in 2012. Dr. Ashraf had participated in urological research and has many publications, one of them (Laparoscopic Cystectomy with Ileal neobladder) was awarded the first prize in the Endourological Society meeting in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2001. Dr.Ashraf currently is a member of the European Association of Urology, the Egyptian Urological Association, and Emirates Urological Society. Dr. Ashraf was the Head of the Urology Department in Police Hospital, Cairo, Egypt before he moved to Abu Dhabi in 2013. Dr. Ashraf has more than 25 years of experience in the field of Urology and his areas of interest include:
- Endourological Procedures for Urinary Stones: using Shockwave and Holmium Laser
- Prostate: using minimally invasive procedures like Green Laser and Urolift
- Erectile Dysfunction: using recent techniques like Platelets rich plasma ( PRP/ P Shot) and reduced intensity Shockwave treatment
